Abstract

The Service Delivery Platform (SDP) has evolved since Moriana's last major SDP Report in 2004 (SDP 1.0 Operator Guide). Today’s third generation SDP puts more emphasis on business aspects. It is built around the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) which facilitates integration with OSS/BSS and enables efficient service orchestration and management. Furthermore, is now clear that the SDP will be crucial in bridging Telecom with the Internet and Web 2.0.
